The four-line PR template

  1. What: one sentence describing the change.
  2. Why: the bug, ticket, or decision behind it.
  3. How: the trickiest part of the implementation.
  4. Test: the exact steps a reviewer should run.

Reviewers don't want a wall of text. They want context that helps them decide in under a minute whether to dig deeper.
